Reid Harbor

Day 1 - Reid Harbor

Stuart Island. Protected anchorage, nearly surrounded by hills. Divers enjoy an underwater marine recreation area and hikers find many trails to explore. (28 miles)

Day 2- Nanaimo

Vancouver Island. After clearing Canadian Customs at Bedwell Harbour, travel through the beautiful Gulf Islands to Nanaimo. Stroll the shops, provision from nearby stores. (50 miles)

Day 3- Secret Cove

Actually a series of smaller coves. Two marine facilities in the north and east coves offer moorage, stores and a restaurant. Oysters and clams may be found in the cove. (28 miles)

Day 4 - Egmont

Choose between the government float and the marina. Take the trail up to Sechelt Rapids, where the current can reach up to 14 knots…a true show of nature’s force. (20 miles)

Day 5 - Princess Louisa Inlet

Chatterbox Falls, at the head of the inlet, a spectacular destination. Cruise past glacier peaks, hundreds of waterfalls and stunning scenery. Plan your departure to clear the famous Malibu Rapids at slack tide. (40 miles)

Day 6 - Grief Point

Beach Gardens Resort and Marina offers moorage, fuel, services, fitness center, restaurants and nearby shopping. (60 miles).

Day 7- Malaspina Inlet

Grace Harbour is completely protected and offers good anchorage anywhere in the area. The water is warm and fresh seafood is plentiful. (27 miles)

Day 8 - Prideaux Haven

A delightful maze of small islands, coves and islets is known for its unusually warm water (70+ degrees in the summer) and the abundance of oysters and clams. (12 miles)

Day 9 - Walsh Cove

A village on a sloping hillside overlooking the harbour. Resort marinas or anchorages in a protected cove. (48 miles)

Day 10 - Cortes Bay

A picturesque bay offering anchorage or moorage. Public docks, complete marina and resort, and a general store are available. (19 miles)

Day 11 - Pender Harbour

A collection of coves and bays where you can anchor or choose one of the many marina facilities to moor for the night. Artists and authors hide away in this quaint area. (48 miles)

Day 12 - Ladysmith

A village on a sloping hillside overlooking the harbour. Resort marinas or anchorages in a protected cove. (48 miles)

Day 13 - Deer Harbor

Travel back across the border to Roche Harbor, clear US Customs then cruise on to Orcas Island and scenic Deer Harbor. Walk to the restaurant for dinner, about ˝ mile from town. (44 miles)

Day 14 - Anacortes

Cruise through the San Juans and back across Rosario Strait to Anacortes and ABC Yacht Charters. Welcome home! (20 miles)
