Reservation Process

  • Call our reservation office
  • A 1/3 deposit confirms your charter
  • The balance is due 60 days prior to your charter
  • A charter packet will be sent to you

Insurance

ABC Yacht Charters' bareboat charter fleet is insured under a comprehensive Master Policy providing proper insurance for all covered marine exposure.

Our low Daily Damage Waiver

  • Covers accidental hull and machinery damage aboard your chartered vessel.
  • Covered with $1,000,000 of liability protection under the yacht's policy for no additional charge.
  • A fully refundable damage deposit may apply to larger vessels, in addition to the daily fee.
  • The specific Daily Damage Waiver Fees are listed on the bareboat fleet Spec Sheets, accessed under The Bareboat Charter Fleet.

Charter Week Information

Prime Season:

During our summer, the minimum charter is 7 days/6 nights, with all yachts scheduled to depart on either a Saturday or Sunday. Please call for your specific yachts' schedule.

Mid and Low Season:

During our Spring and Winter months, you may begin and end your charter on which ever day you choose with a 4 day/3 night minimum charter required.

Qualifications Bareboat Charter

To ensure that your cruise is relaxed, enjoyable and safe, we want you and your crew to know how to handle the yacht you have choosen. Upon booking your charter you will be asked to complete a Boating Experience Resume outlining your qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience on a similar type and size of vessel on tidal water.
  • Completetion of ABC's annual Piloting & Navigation Review (PNR) [ Sample PNR ]

Cancellation Policy

Please call immediately so we may open the dates for another booking.

  • 120+ days prior to charter: $250/wk fee
  • 60 - 119 days prior to charter: 1/3 of charter fees*
  • 59 - 0 days prior to charter: 100% of charter fees*

*all fees less the $250 per week cancelation fee will be gladly returned to you if ABC is successful in rebooking your dates.

Trip Cancellation Insurance

At your time of booking we can assist you with Trip Cancellation Insurance. This insurance protects you from forfeiture of your charter fees if you must cancel or interrupt your charter due to covered circumstances such as illness, injury, travel delays, lost luggage or a number of other events which may cause you to cancel all or part of you trip.

Charterer Guarantee

If vessel problems occur through no fault of the charterer, and with timely communication to our office, ABC's cruising guarantee exceeds the industry standards.

Here is an example of this great service: If a vessel is out of commission for more than 5 hours during a cruise day (8 am - 5pm), while within 25 miles of Anacortes, ABC will reimburse for a full day of downtime!

Cherterer must first notify ABC of the problem and not be culpable for the downtime
